Here at Partnership Publishing, we love books (who’d have guessed) and we’re big advocates of children’s literature. So, it may not come as a surprise we’re celebrating Roald Dahl day. Most of us are familiar with many of his books and have seen some of them brought to life in their film adaptations but did you know that Dahl was a a fighter pilot in World War II? And not just any pilot: Dahl was a fighter pilot with the Royal Air Force and it was a plane crash near Alexandria, Egypt that actually inspired him to begin writing!
